DRUM RING PRICE AID
Variance of the prices listed are due to the method required to make the piece, the number of parts to make the ring, the width, and finger size.
We can use any combination of 14 karat (585) yellow, white and rose golds in your custom ring.
At Atlas Jewelers, we do our own casting and choose to use a special 14K (585) white gold alloy that is alloyed for a whiter appearance then the standard white gold used by most manufacturers. It does not require rhodium plating and as an added bonus to the wearer, it is harder then the typical white gold alloy.
Everything that we do is figured line by line for everything going into the piece of jewelry. Contact me to consult on a design and for a quote.
Here are some guild lines on estimating the price of a drum ring:
All rings are comfort fit with a slight rounded interior.
There are a couple of different paths to getting to your dream ring. You have control of many of the design elements.
First is the lug design. I can emulate any drum manufacturer's pattern. What drum do want made?
You also get to choose between smooth and flanged rims. Smooth rims are wonderfully comfortable. Flanged, undulating rims look more realistic, but can be felt by the adjacent fingers. Same price for either rim style.

STANDARD FULL CUSTOM
Full custom is the standard at musicianrings.com. You get to choose every aspect of you drum ring. I will walk you through the decision making process. The standard full custom is a one metal, one color design with the shell, rims and lugs cast as one piece. (Where the lug design allows for it.) This reduces the labor and therefore the price. In 14k yellow or white gold the price is around $1000-1400 depending on finger size, width. The tension rods are cast in place and you get your choice of shell texture. However, high shine is not available at this price.
Logo badges are available and inside ring engraving is free.

In Sterling silver, I am running a special at $350.
SPECIALTY CUSTOM. ONE COLOR OR TWO TONE.
With SPECIALITY CUSTOM, you get to choose every aspect of your drum ring. All the pieces are cast separately for total control of color. All pieces are pre polished before assembly and your ring is built almost like a real drum. With the lugs out of the way, the shell can be high polished if you chose. The tension rods are laser welded in place after the rims are polished for a clean, crisp look. Estimate is $1400-1800 in you choice of 14k yellow, white or rose golds.
CLASSIC BAND
No tension rods give a clean, uncluttered look that is more like a traditional wedding band. $800-1300 is a typical price in 14k yellow or white gold depending on width and finger size desired.
